The G.fast technology makes it possible to provide up to 2 Gbit/s (sum rate Up-/Downstream) per subscriber via copper twisted pair cables. This allows you to continue to use your existing copper cable infrastructure in apartment buildings. Thanks to Reverse Power Feed (RPF), the MileGate 205x series can also be operated without an additional power supply.
The G.fast DPUs offer management via CLI, SNMP, Telnet and NETCONF/YANG as well as a web interface. This allows MileGate to fit into your workflow.
The MileGate 205x Series simplifies your work even further thanks to MELT (Metallic Line Text), which allows you to check the connection line remotely.

MileGate 205x and 204x series are designed for wall-mounting in the basement of multi-dwelling units. They require no pre-assembled cabling and can be installed without an additional housing. Passive cooling make them absolutely noiseless; the housing cover is lockable and a sensor alerts in the event of an unauthorised access attempt.
The MileGate 2144 is designed for deployment in utility rooms (FTTB) or street cabinets (FTTC). Thanks to its size and extended temperature range, it is also suitable for outdoor deployment in street cabinets.
